The Mediterranean CUPRA Padel Cup: Where Performance, Culture, and Sport Meet

The Mediterranean CUPRA Padel Cup 2025 unfolded at the New Giza Sports Club in Cairo on November 20 and 21, bringing together the spirit of competition, culture, and community under the vision of a car brand that continues to push boundaries. CUPRA has long embraced the worlds where performance, emotion, and daring creativity converge, and padel has become one of its strongest expressions. More than a sponsorship, it is a movement that reflects CUPRA’s identity and its ever-growing international Tribe.

A Competition Taking Shape Across the Mediterranean

This year’s edition marked a significant milestone with the arrival of Turkey, joining Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt. With this new expansion, the CUPRA Padel Cup officially becomes the Mediterranean CUPRA Padel Cup. The evolution of the event mirrors CUPRA’s ambition to unite more Mediterranean nations through a single universe defined by passion and boldness.

After Morocco and Tunisia hosted the 2024 edition, Egypt took the lead this year, reinforcing the idea of a traveling competition that highlights cultural exchange, shared values, and sporting excellence. Each edition gathers athletes from different backgrounds, all united under CUPRA’s emblem and energy.

Morocco Shines on the Regional Stage

Morocco’s presence at the tournament was exceptional, with five teams competing across elite and amateur categories. The nation delivered remarkable performances that underscored its rising influence in the international padel landscape.

Among the standout results, Maria Benkirane and Lina Benkirane claimed victory in their category, while Zeinab El Houari and Rita Atik reached the final in the Elite Women’s category. Mehdi Marhraoui and Adil Benzakour also distinguished themselves by reaching the Amateur Men’s final. Their achievements reflect both individual excellence and the growing strength of Moroccan padel.
