An Exclusive Night at Fairmont Taghazout Bay: Tailoring, Tastings, and Timeless Jazz
Fairmont Taghazout Bay hosted a distinguished evening on December 5, unveiling the Gentlemen’s Night at the Nola Speakeasy Bar. Conceived as an homage to masculine elegance, the event brought together the refined world of bespoke tailoring, the art of fine spirits, and the timeless allure of jazz.
Behind the discreet doors of the Nola Speakeasy, guests discovered an atmosphere shaped by warm shadows and subtle luxury. In collaboration with Sidi Tailoring, Morocco’s renowned house of high-end menswear, the evening unfolded as a curated journey for those who value precision, style, and craftsmanship.
A highlight of the night was an exclusive presentation of Sidi Tailoring’s signature pieces, showcasing sharp cuts, noble fabrics, and silhouettes tailored with architectural attention. Since 2013, the Maison has dressed athletes, diplomats, artists, and cultural figures, and has built its reputation on a high-end, fully personalized approach. Exact measurements, bespoke stylistic guidance, and fabrics sourced from prestigious textile mills are at the core of its creations, ranging from business suiting to eveningwear and elevated casual attire.
Guests were also invited to a masterclass led by Chakir Belhaloumi, founder of Sidi Tailoring, who shared contemporary principles of men’s elegance and the philosophy behind the brand’s commitment to excellence.
To complete the experience, the evening featured a premium tasting of The Macallan 12 Year Old, celebrated for its depth and refined character, paired with Davidoff cigars. The tasting was designed as a moment of initiation, offering participants the opportunity to appreciate the art of savoring rare and authentic delights.
The night reached its crescendo with a live performance by the Nola Collective Jazz Band. Inspired by the golden age of New Orleans jazz, the performance merged classic brass energy with contemporary rhythm, filling the bar with an immersive, evolving musical atmosphere.
The celebration extended beyond the evening itself with a Sidi Tailoring pop up showroom held from December 12 to 14 at Fairmont Taghazout Bay. The space offered private consultations, fabric selections, measurements, and personalized advice, giving guests direct access to the Maison’s universe of bespoke sophistication.
More than an event, the Gentlemen’s Night presented a ritual of elegance and an immersion into a world reserved for those who seek exceptional craftsmanship and refined experiences.
