Moroccan Interior Design Awards 2025 Mark a Turning Point for Interior Design in Morocco

Interior design in Morocco has reached a defining moment. The first edition of the Moroccan Interior Design Awards (MIDA), held on December 17, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca, officially placed the discipline at the center of contemporary cultural and creative conversations.

Organized by Groupe Archimedia under the aegis of the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy, the Moroccan Interior Design Awards were conceived as a structuring platform dedicated to a sector that has long shaped lifestyles, hospitality experiences, and work environments, yet remained largely behind the scenes.

A New Lens on How Morocco Lives and Designs

From private homes and hotels to restaurants, offices, wellness centers, and cultural spaces, the projects showcased at MIDA reveal how interior design reflects changing uses, new expectations of comfort, and evolving aesthetic sensibilities. This first edition positions MIDA as a future observatory of Moroccan design practices, craftsmanship, and innovation.

The diversity of projects presented illustrates a design culture deeply rooted in local know how while remaining open to contemporary influences, sustainability, and global design languages.

A Dynamic Sector in Full Expansion

The strong participation in this inaugural edition confirms the momentum of interior design in Morocco. More than one hundred submissions were received, with 73 projects shortlisted across 16 categories, complemented by three special distinctions. A jury composed of leading professionals in design, architecture, and education selected 19 laureates, highlighting the creativity, technical mastery, and conceptual depth of the projects.

This wide range of awarded works reflects the richness of Moroccan interior design, from residential and hospitality projects to commercial, wellness, and cultural spaces.

The Moroccan Interior Design Awards 2025 celebrated both established practices and emerging voices. The awards recognized outstanding achievements in craftsmanship integration, hospitality design, wellness architecture, residential projects, office spaces, gastronomy, lighting design, sports facilities, and cultural venues.
