N2L Positive Battle & Stages Brings an International Hip-Hop Weekend to Marrakech

Marrakech is set to become a major meeting point for urban dance culture with the arrival of N2L Positive Battle & Stages, an international hip-hop event taking place from January 30 to February 1, 2026, at the Centre Culturel Les Étoiles de Jemaa Fna. Co-organized by Nothing2Looz, a global reference in hip-hop dance events, and Positive School, a leading Moroccan hip-hop structure, this first edition celebrates movement, creativity, and cultural exchange through workshops and battles open to all.

Designed as a weekend of learning, performance, and sharing, the event highlights hip-hop not only as a dance discipline but as a powerful cultural language that transcends borders. The program opens on Friday, January 30, with an Afro-Jazz workshop led by Willis, an internationally renowned hip-hop dancer known for his appearances in major TV shows, brand campaigns, and widely viewed performances. On Sunday, February 1, the spotlight turns to Popping with Nelson, one of the most respected figures in the global hip-hop scene. With an exceptional competitive background and years of experience as a choreographer and artistic director, Nelson brings a highly technical and creative vision to his workshop. Participants are invited to refine their style while exploring the artistic foundations of popping culture.

A 3vs3 All Styles Battle to Close the Weekend

The highlight of the weekend takes place on Sunday afternoon, with the N2L Positive Battle, a 3vs3 All Styles crew competition open to dancers from all urban dance backgrounds. Crews will face off in a format deeply rooted in hip-hop tradition, combining freestyle expression, technical skill, and individual personality.

The battle will be animated by MC Momoze and MC Nilton, with music provided by ITSWHY, a DJ and dancer known for his strong connection to battle culture. An international jury will oversee the competition, ensuring a level of excellence that reflects the spirit and authenticity of the global hip-hop scene. Cyphers and DJ sets will complete the experience, reinforcing the sense of community and creative exchange.
