BYD Morocco Launches ATTO 3 EVO and SEALION 5
Two new models. Two different approaches to electrified mobility. BYD Morocco, through its exclusive importer Auto Nejma, officially launched the ATTO 3 EVO and the SEALION 5 Super Hybrid in June 2026. Together, they mark a clear commitment from the Chinese brand to make electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles part of everyday life in Morocco.
Two SUVs, Two Visions of the Road
The BYD ATTO 3 EVO is a fully electric SUV built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0. Its refreshed design brings sharper lines and a more dynamic silhouette, while the cabin has been entirely rethought for modern comfort. Inside, a rotating central screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and the intelligent voice assistant “Hi BYD” place it firmly in the premium segment. Moreover, its generous interior space makes it a practical and attractive choice for families.
The SEALION 5 Super Hybrid takes a different path. It combines a thermal engine with an electric motor through BYD’s proprietary DM-i Super Hybrid technology, delivering smooth, quiet, and fuel-efficient driving across all conditions. From urban commutes to long-distance journeys, the SEALION 5 adapts without compromise.
Range That Works in the Real World
Range anxiety is one of the most common concerns for Moroccan drivers considering electrification. BYD addresses it directly with both models. The ATTO 3 EVO achieves a WLTP urban range of up to 710 km on a single charge, making daily driving and intercity trips genuinely stress-free.
The SEALION 5 Super Hybrid goes even further in terms of total autonomy. It delivers up to 120 km of pure electric range under WLTP urban conditions, and a combined total range of 1,016 km. With fuel consumption of just 5.5 L/100 km, it offers an ideal bridge for drivers not yet ready to go fully electric, while still benefiting from electric driving most of the time.
The Blade Battery: BYD’s Core Innovation
Both models are powered by BYD’s Blade Battery, a lithium iron phosphate cell developed entirely in-house. Recognized worldwide for its safety, longevity, and reliability, this technology is already installed in millions of vehicles globally. Beyond performance, it reflects BYD’s broader philosophy: controlling the full value chain, from battery chemistry to finished vehicle, to ensure consistent quality at every level.
A Complete After-Sales Network
Auto Nejma supports both models through a national network covering Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir, Fez, and Oujda. Buyers benefit from a 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 200,000 km battery warranty. Furthermore, spare parts availability reaches 95%, keeping maintenance costs among the most competitive in the Moroccan market.

Pricing and Availability
The BYD ATTO 3 EVO starts at 355,900 MAD. The BYD SEALION 5 Super Hybrid is priced from 299,900 MAD. Both models are available now at all Auto Nejma showrooms across Morocco.
