IKEA is stepping beyond familiar Scandinavian restraint with KONSTRUNDA, a new limited-edition collection created with seven international designers. Expressive, tactile and deliberately unexpected, the 22-piece series explores the point where functional design begins to feel like art.

Akanksha Deo Brings Emotion Into the Home

Indian designer Akanksha Deo approaches objects through sensitivity and human connection. Working across design, fashion and textile traditions, she imagines decorative pieces almost as quiet companions within a space.

For KONSTRUNDA, her contribution includes colourful block-like sculptures and a suspended tapestry. The pieces feel soft in spirit despite their graphic forms, adding warmth and character without relying on conventional decoration.

Andu Masebo Gives Craft a Contemporary Edge
