BYD Ti 7 Arrives in Morocco as a New Premium Hybrid SUV
Auto Nejma has introduced the BYD Ti 7 in Morocco, extending the marque’s electrified range into the large SUV category. Positioned at the top of BYD’s local lineup, it combines all-wheel drive, generous proportions and useful electric range. Moreover, its arrival takes BYD into a more premium and versatile corner of Morocco’s evolving SUV market.
BYD Ti 7 Brings Performance to the Road
At its core sits BYD’s performance-focused DM-p plug-in hybrid system. It pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor on each axle. BYD cites a combined output of 483 hp, alongside a 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.8 seconds. Yet the Ti 7 balances this pace with nine driving settings for both daily roads and challenging terrain.
A Chassis Designed Beyond the City
The Ti 7 uses a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear layout. Ventilated disc brakes feature on all four wheels. As a result, BYD positions the model as more than an urban SUV. Dedicated settings for mud, sand, snow and mountain conditions add another layer of versatility.
Electric Range for Everyday Life
A 35.6 kWh Blade Battery sits at the heart of the electric system. According to BYD, it provides up to 130 km of electric range under the WLTP cycle. Therefore, many daily journeys can take place without engaging the petrol engine. With both energy sources, the claimed combined range reaches 870 km.
Faster Stops and Longer Journeys
The charging system accepts up to 7.6 kW on AC and 73 kW on DC through a CCS2 connection. BYD states that charging from 30 to 80 percent takes 20 minutes under suitable conditions. In addition, the plug-in hybrid architecture allows drivers to continue longer journeys without depending entirely on charging infrastructure.
Space Framed by Technology
At just over five metres long and nearly two metres wide, the BYD Ti 7 gives five passengers a spacious cabin. Its boot holds 485 litres and expands to 1,813 litres when the rear seats fold. Meanwhile, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital display shape the dashboard.
Comfort with a Considered Edge
The cabin features a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and 64-colour ambient lighting. Heated, ventilated and massaging front seats bring added comfort to longer journeys. Furthermore, the Premium trim introduces ventilated second-row seats, an integrated refrigerator and a 26-inch head-up display.
A Fully Connected Interior
A 14-speaker audio system accompanies Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, onboard 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity. Drivers can also access cloud services and the BYD mobile application. Beyond that, the “Hi BYD” intelligent voice assistant offers another way to control key vehicle functions.
DiPilot 5 Watches the Road
Safety technology centres on six airbags and BYD’s DiPilot 5 driver-assistance suite. It includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane support, blind-spot detection and cross-traffic alerts. Moreover, eight parking sensors, tyre-pressure monitoring and the intelligent TDSC chassis system broaden the safety package.
Two Trims and a Distinct Palette
Moroccan customers can choose between Design and Premium specifications. Six exterior colours include Atlantis Grey, Emerald Green, Jungle Green and Metallic Titanium Grey. Inside, three colour combinations pair blue with black, grey with white, or black with brown. Consequently, the Ti 7 can move from understated to expressive while retaining its composed character.

The BYD Ti 7 starts at 459,900 MAD. It is available through Auto Nejma’s network in Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Fez, Tangier, Agadir and Oujda. In addition, Auto Nejma reports spare-parts availability reaching 96 percent across the BYD range.

The Ti 7 arrives with a clear proposition: electric calm for routine journeys, extended range for travel and all-wheel drive for added freedom.
