Marché Dar Essalam Shapes a New Lifestyle Rhythm in Rabat

Since its inauguration on June 21, 2025, Marché Dar Essalam has quickly become one of Rabat’s most distinctive lifestyle destinations. Designed as a next-generation proximity center, the project was imagined to accompany daily life through a calm, fluid, and thoughtfully curated environment, where quality of experience takes precedence over volume.

A few months after opening, Marché Dar Essalam naturally continues its evolution with the launch of its West Wing. This new phase enriches the original concept while remaining faithful to its identity, introducing the first Pathé cinema in Rabat alongside an expanded offering dedicated to dining, wellbeing, and art de vivre.

A Premium Cinema Experience Integrated into Everyday Life

With the arrival of Pathé, Marché Dar Essalam adds a cultural dimension designed as a seamless extension of the visitor journey. The cinema features four screening rooms equipped with state-of-the-art projection technologies, offering immersive sound and optimal viewing comfort within an elegant architectural setting.

VIP rooms elevate the experience further with fully reclining seats, allowing spectators to enjoy films in a relaxed and refined atmosphere. Each screening is conceived as a complete moment of pleasure, enhanced by a curated selection of sweet and savory treats, beverages, and popcorn, reinforcing the idea of cinema as an experience rather than a simple outing.

The West Wing, A Curated Approach to Dining and Wellbeing

The opening of the West Wing also marks a strong expansion of the food and lifestyle offering. Conceived as a complementary space to the existing parcours, the new wing welcomes carefully selected brands chosen for their identity, consistency, and ability to fit naturally into everyday urban rhythms.

Joe & The Juice offers a fresh and energizing pause, ideal from morning to afternoon. Frédéric Cassel brings a contemporary bakery and tea salon where French pastry expertise meets elegance and generosity, enhanced by a welcoming terrace. Aguablava introduces a refined yet approachable dining experience, equally suited for relaxed lunches and more composed dinners, in a warm and controlled setting.

Completing the experience, Skult Studio adds a wellness dimension through yoga and pilates sessions, offering visitors a moment to slow down, reconnect, and care for themselves, seamlessly integrated into the life of the center.

A Project Faithful to Its Original DNA

Despite its expansion, Marché Dar Essalam remains deeply anchored in its original vision as a premium proximity destination. At its heart lies the Marché Frais, inspired by traditional market halls and Moroccan souks, highlighting local terroir and craftsmanship through fishmongers, butchers, greengrocers, and cheesemakers, all within a bright and contemporary architectural environment that encourages transparency and exchange.

With more than sixty brands, a true one-stop-shop philosophy, and a landscaped environment unique in Rabat, Marché Dar Essalam offers a complete experience designed to accompany daily life in all its diversity. Conceived as an urban orchard and built with a strong commitment to sustainability, the project reflects a modern and responsible approach to neighborhood commerce.

More than a commercial destination, Marché Dar Essalam positions itself as a place to live, pause, and connect. A space where shopping, culture, dining, and wellbeing naturally intersect, designed to evolve over time while preserving what matters most: the quality of experience and the simple pleasure of everyday life.
