Mövenpick Celebrates Ten Years of Generosity with the 10th Edition of Kilo of Kindness

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is celebrating a decade of global generosity with the 10th edition of its international charity campaign, Kilo of Kindness. Launched in 2015, this initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to compassion and hospitality around the world. From October 13 to November 14, 2025, more than 80 Mövenpick hotels across 30 countries will join forces to collect donations for people in need, proving once again that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

In Morocco, Mövenpick Casablanca and Mövenpick Marrakech Mansour Eddahbi are taking part in this global movement by inviting guests, employees, and local residents to contribute to this meaningful cause. The campaign encourages donations of clothing, food, school supplies, and hygiene products to support local charities working to protect children and families in need. Mövenpick Casablanca is partnering with Maison d’Enfants Lalla Hasnaa to provide clothing and bedding for children, while Mövenpick Marrakech is supporting Enfance Espoir Maroc through donations of essential items and educational materials.

Since its creation, Kilo of Kindness has collected over 100,000 kilograms of donations, supporting hundreds of NGOs and countless families worldwide. The initiative embodies Mövenpick’s belief that generosity knows no borders and that true hospitality extends far beyond hotel walls. At the heart of this movement are Mövenpick’s Heartists, the dedicated team members who bring kindness and empathy to life every day through meaningful interactions and genuine care.

According to Benoît Racle, Global Brand President Premium at Accor, celebrating ten years of Kilo of Kindness is about recognizing the power of collective generosity. He emphasizes that giving back is part of Mövenpick’s philosophy and that every contribution helps build stronger, more connected communities.

This year’s edition coincides with World Kindness Week, amplifying the campaign’s message of compassion and togetherness. Mövenpick uses this milestone to highlight that generosity is not limited to large-scale initiatives but is also reflected in the small daily gestures that define true hospitality, from a warm welcome to thoughtful attention to guests’ needs.

Kilo of Kindness perfectly illustrates Mövenpick’s mission to foster genuine connections, encourage solidarity, and make a positive impact on society. Guests and residents are invited to bring their donations to participating Mövenpick hotels between October 13 and November 14, 2025. All contributions will be distributed through local partner associations to directly support disadvantaged communities.
