GAC Arrives in Morocco with a New Vision of Mobility
M-AUTOMOTIV has officially launched GAC in Morocco, introducing a range that spans compact SUVs, family vehicles and electric models. As the brand’s exclusive importer and distributor, the Moroccan group will also bring GAC’s AION and HYPTEC brands to the market.
From City Streets to Long Journeys
GAC’s Moroccan lineup brings together several approaches to everyday travel. The EMZOOM is a compact petrol SUV, while the hybrid EMKOO offers an alternative for drivers seeking lower fuel consumption. The plug-in hybrid S7 adds more space for family journeys.
The GN8 takes a different direction. This seven-seat plug-in hybrid focuses on the passenger experience, with spacious seating, rear entertainment and comfort features designed for longer trips.

HYPTEC Brings Electric Design into Focus
The launch also introduces HYPTEC, GAC’s premium electric brand. Its HT SUV pairs a distinctive silhouette with an interior featuring Nappa leather, ventilated and massaging front seats, and Dolby Atmos audio. GAC states that it can travel up to 620 km under the NEDC testing cycle.
At the more experimental end of the range, the electric Hyper SSR serves as a showcase for the group’s engineering. Its carbon-fibre body and three-motor powertrain give the Moroccan launch a striking centrepiece.

A Growing Presence in Morocco
GAC is already present in Casablanca and Tangier. M-AUTOMOTIV plans to expand the sales network, while after-sales support is available through GAC workshops and M-Service centres in several Moroccan cities.
For GAC, the launch marks the start of a broader presence in Morocco. For the local market, it adds another choice across petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric mobility.
