Peugeot and Pathé Bring Their Partnership to Moroccan Cinemas
A New Setting for Peugeot
Peugeot Maroc is taking its presence into the cinema through a new agreement with Pathé Maroc. Signed on 6 October 2026 at Pathé Californie in Casablanca, the partnership connects the automotive brand with audiences beyond the showroom. From vehicle displays to private screenings, it introduces Peugeot into several moments of the cinema experience.
The Peugeot Pathé Partnership Comes to Morocco
The Peugeot Pathé partnership extends to Morocco an agreement the two brands signed internationally in January 2026. Their shared history offers another connection: both businesses trace a founding milestone to 1896. That year, Armand Peugeot established Société Anonyme des Automobiles Peugeot, while Charles and Émile Pathé founded Pathé Frères.
Before the Opening Scene
For cinema audiences, the collaboration will first appear through advertising screened before films. Beyond that, Peugeot will feature in cinema spaces through vehicle exhibitions and branded installations tied to major releases. These displays will allow visitors to discover the brand as part of an evening at the cinema.
Premieres and Private Evenings
Meanwhile, the programme includes premieres, private evenings and events for Peugeot customers and its dealer network. Activities involving dealerships will also form part of the calendar. In addition, both brands plan to communicate jointly throughout the year, extending the collaboration beyond individual screenings.
A Shared Approach to the Guest Experience
For Hind El Youssi Tazi, Peugeot’s brand director in Morocco, the agreement creates another setting for meaningful encounters with customers. Similarly, Pathé Maroc managing director Frédéric Godfroid highlights the brands’ shared interest in premium experiences. Their comments position the Peugeot Pathé partnership around customer engagement as well as visibility.
Electrified Mobility Enters the Picture
Alongside the screenings and events, Peugeot will use the partnership to introduce audiences to its electrified range. Model presentations and related activities will bring this subject into Pathé’s cinema spaces. As a result, visitors will encounter the brand’s approach to electrified mobility during selected activations.
The First Chapter in Casablanca
The initial programme is scheduled to begin in October at Pathé Californie, with vehicle exhibitions and the first joint activities. Opened in December 2023, the Casablanca complex includes eight screens, with IMAX Laser, 4DX and VIP formats. Meanwhile, Pathé’s Moroccan presence also includes Dar Essalam in Rabat, which opened in December 2025.
Beyond the Screening
Ultimately, the agreement gives Peugeot a recurring place within Pathé’s programme of screenings, launches and private events. For audiences, it adds another layer to the cinema visit, with opportunities to discover vehicles alongside the films they came to see.
