Giorgio Armani and Kith Bring Dreams of the Dune to Marrakech’s Desert Landscape
A Desert Setting for a New Chapter
On October 9, Giorgio Armani and Kith presented their third collaboration in Morocco’s Agafay desert, near Marrakech. Titled Dreams of the Dune, the collection explores Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 through relaxed tailoring, substantial outerwear and earthy tones. Here, the landscape becomes part of the collection’s visual language.

Giorgio Armani and Kith Continue Their Dialogue
The partnership began in 2024, bringing Armani’s approach to dressing into conversation with Ronnie Fieg’s New York label. Subsequently, the Estate collection explored a summer wardrobe inspired by Malibu and Porto Cervo. This latest chapter turns towards cooler weather, with a greater emphasis on texture and protective layers.
Tailoring with Room to Move
Soft shoulders and generous trousers define the silhouettes, giving formal dressing an unhurried ease. Meanwhile, utilitarian details introduce a practical dimension without overwhelming the clothes. The balance feels considered: familiar menswear shapes gain fluidity through proportion, fabric and the way they sit on the body.

Outerwear Takes the Lead
A belted shearling coat, a two-tone leather utility jacket and suede blousons anchor the collection. Alongside them, aviator-inspired pieces reinforce its sense of travel. Cargo trousers also receive a more refined treatment, with virgin wool, cashmere and pure hemp bringing texture to functional forms.
A Palette Beyond Sand
The desert reference extends well beyond beige. Instead, black and deep blue move through brown, sand, greige and grey before giving way to white. These shifts create depth across the wardrobe, while greige maintains a connection to Armani’s established palette.
A Cinematic Point of Departure
According to Leo Dell’Orco, who leads Giorgio Armani’s menswear design, the desert’s atmosphere and colours helped shape the collection. In addition, The English Patient offered a cinematic reference for its particular elegance. That influence finds an echo in the aviator shapes, layered textures and relaxed proportions.

Marrakech as Part of the Story
The setting also draws on the house’s longstanding relationship with Marrakech. Giorgio Armani visited Yves Saint Laurent there in the late 1980s, followed by further journeys and campaigns involving Rosanna Armani. Consequently, Agafay gives the presentation a connection to the house’s history as well as its present creative direction.
From Agafay to the Everyday Wardrobe
With Dreams of the Dune, Giorgio Armani and Kith translate a desert mood into clothes intended for everyday wear. Above all, the collection centres on ease, texture and outerwear with presence. It will be available from October 16, 2026, online and at selected Giorgio Armani and Kith boutiques.
