Geely Opens a Showroom Dedicated to Electric and Hybrid Mobility in Rabat

Geely expands its Moroccan presence with a new showroom at Rabat’s Carrousel Mall, dedicated entirely to electric and hybrid vehicles. Operated by Bamotors, the brand’s official distributor in Morocco, the space becomes its ninth national point of sale. Moreover, the opening follows the local launch of the GALAXY range in May 2026.

Inside the Geely Rabat Showroom

The Geely Rabat showroom brings several approaches to electrified driving together under one roof. Its selection includes the fully electric Geely EX2 and the EX5 EM-i, a plug-in hybrid. Alongside them, the Riddara introduces a double-cab pickup with plug-in hybrid power. According to Bamotors, it is the first vehicle of its kind distributed in Morocco.

A Premium SUV on the Horizon

Beyond the current selection, the showroom also features a new premium SUV ahead of its forthcoming Moroccan launch. However, the announcement leaves its name, specifications and launch date undisclosed. For now, its presence offers an early glimpse of the brand’s next chapter in the local market.

Building on the GALAXY Launch

The Rabat opening continues the strategy introduced with Geely’s GALAXY range earlier this year. In addition, the space follows the group’s latest retail standards, supporting its ambition to make electrified mobility more accessible in Morocco. The Geely Rabat showroom gives drivers in the capital a dedicated address to explore these alternatives.

A Growing National Network

With Rabat joining the network, Bamotors now operates nine points of sale across seven Moroccan cities. These include Agadir, Marrakech, Meknès, Fès and Oujda, alongside three locations in Casablanca. Furthermore, the distributor plans additional openings before the end of 2026, extending the brand’s reach across the country.

A Flagship Planned for 2027

For Sébastien Nicolas, Managing Director of Geely Morocco, establishing a presence in the capital was an essential step. Looking ahead, he says the brand plans to complement this showroom with a Rabat flagship in 2027. The announcement therefore positions the Carrousel Mall opening within a broader expansion in the city.

An Address for Electrified Driving

Ultimately, the new showroom gives Geely’s electric and plug-in hybrid offering a dedicated setting in Rabat. From an electric model to a double-cab pickup, the selection reflects different driving needs within the same evolving market. Visitors can discover the space at Carrousel Mall, Monday to Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
