Sofitel Marrakech Hosts the 2026 PURE Awards Celebration
On Tuesday, 8 September 2026, Sofitel Marrakech Palais Imperial & Spa hosted the PURE Awards Celebration. It became one of the central evenings of PURE Life Experiences. Together, the ceremony gathered the international travel community to recognise four projects and leaders shaping a more considered approach to travel.

Rainforest Expeditions received the Community Award. The category recognises initiatives that involve local communities in deciding how tourism can create shared value. Therefore, the distinction celebrated participation as much as the visitor experience itself.
Dolores Gangotena Named Change Maker
Dolores Gangotena received the 2026 Change Maker Award. PURE reserves this individual distinction for a leader whose work has influenced the wider community. Above all, it gave the evening a human focus by recognising the leadership behind long-term change.

PURE Life Experiences gathered its community in Marrakech from 7 to 10 September 2026.
