Dislog Maroc Padel Masters: A Triumphant Launch in Casablanca
The inaugural edition of the Dislog Maroc Padel Masters (DMPM), held from April 18 to 20, 2025, at the Paradise Padel Club in Casablanca, marked a significant milestone for the development of padel in Morocco. As the first event of a newly reimagined national circuit, it successfully combined athletic intensity, professionalism, and a spirit of conviviality, drawing in a wide audience and players from across Morocco, as well as France and Spain, including several ranked among the world’s top 150.
Supported by the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation (FRMT), under the leadership of its president, Mr. Fayçal Laraichi, and led by Dislog Group as title sponsor, the DMPM brought together 160 players competing across two categories: P1000 for elite athletes and P100 for advanced competitors. This participation underlined the sport’s rapid and dynamic growth in the country.
Professional Organization and a Festive Atmosphere
The tournament’s organization was marked by a rigorous and professional approach. Overseen by Adil Homriti, an ITF-certified referee, and organized by the Padel Events team led by Omar El Yacoubi and Nacho Payan, the event ensured smooth coordination, enabling each match to unfold under the best possible conditions and providing spectators with a high-quality sports spectacle.
Visitors enjoyed more than just padel matches; the Paradise Padel Club transformed into a vibrant sports village overlooking the sea, complete with food courts, a children’s play area, family-friendly entertainment, and an artistic performance by the Temps Danse school. Throughout the weekend, the event attracted nearly 2,500 spectators on-site and garnered over 5,600 views via live streaming on YouTube, particularly during the finals.
A New Momentum for Moroccan Padel
Beyond the competition, the DMPM reflects a broader vision: to structure the Moroccan padel ecosystem sustainably. By organizing a national circuit, engaging committed partners, and enhancing infrastructure quality, DMPM aims to position Morocco as a key player on the regional and international padel scene.
Among the strategic partners propelling this initiative is Dislog Group, whose role as title sponsor demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting the sport’s growth. The presence of Ms. Ghislaine Belkhayat, President of the Dislog Foundation, alongside Ms. Farah Belkhayat, an ambassador for the new generation passionate about sports, highlighted the group’s multi-generational dedication to padel development.
Furthermore, the Mercure International Group of Morocco reaffirmed its support through its flagship brands: BeSport, official sponsor, and Bullpadel Maroc, official equipment supplier for the circuit. Mr. Amine Abouyoub, the group’s Managing Director, and Ms. Samira Rahmoun, Development Director, attended the Casablanca event to lend their support.
This successful launch sets the tone for the remaining five stages of the 2025 season, each aiming to promote Moroccan padel, discover new talents, and expand the community.
