The New Mercedes-Benz GLB Hybrid Arrives in Morocco
Mercedes-Benz introduces the new GLB to the Moroccan market through Auto Nejma, bringing a fresh approach to versatility, technology and everyday driving. Now available with a 48V hybrid powertrain, the latest generation combines a distinctive SUV design with intelligent features and seating for up to seven passengers.
A New Chapter for the Mercedes-Benz GLB
The new Mercedes-Benz GLB maintains its distinctive SUV character while introducing a more contemporary approach to design and functionality. Its confident proportions and generous interior make it suitable for both urban lifestyles and longer journeys.
Moreover, the new generation places greater emphasis on connectivity, comfort and flexibility, responding to the evolving expectations of modern drivers.

Hybrid Performance Meets Everyday Efficiency
At the heart of the new GLB 200 is a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine supported by 48V hybrid technology. Together, the system delivers 184 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds.
The electrified eight-speed dual-clutch transmission contributes to a smoother and more efficient driving experience. In addition, the hybrid system enables short periods of fully electric driving at low urban speeds under suitable conditions.
A fully electric version of the GLB is also expected to join the Moroccan market.

A Spacious Interior Designed for Versatility
One of the defining characteristics of the new GLB remains its practicality. With seating for up to seven passengers and a 540-litre luggage compartment, the SUV offers flexibility for different lifestyles.
Whether navigating the city or planning a weekend escape, the cabin balances generous proportions with the comfort associated with Mercedes-Benz.
Intelligent Technology at the Centre of the Experience
Technology plays a central role in the new GLB. The latest MBUX infotainment experience integrates artificial intelligence from Microsoft and Google, offering a more intuitive and personalised interaction between driver and vehicle.
Furthermore, the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System, known as MB.OS, enables over-the-air updates. This allows the vehicle to receive improvements to its navigation, entertainment and comfort functions over time.

Safety and Driving Assistance
The new GLB also introduces a comprehensive range of safety and driver assistance technologies.
The DISTRONIC adaptive cruise control system comes as standard, while the optional MB.DRIVE ASSIST package adds steering assistance and lane-changing functionality. These features contribute to a more comfortable driving experience, particularly during longer journeys.
The New GLB Makes Its Moroccan Debut
With the arrival of the new GLB 200, Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its electrified offering in Morocco. Combining hybrid efficiency, advanced digital technology and seven-seat versatility, the model strengthens the brand’s presence in the premium compact SUV segment.
Pricing details for the Moroccan market will be announced by Auto Nejma.
