Brand Africa Morocco 2026: The Most Admired Brands
On June 19, 2026, Casablanca became the stage for one of the most anticipated brand events on the continent. The 16th edition of Brand Africa 100 | Morocco’s Most Admired Brands was officially unveiled at a ceremony organized by Integrate, Brand Africa’s official partner in Morocco, in collaboration with Brendz. The results sent a clear signal: Morocco is not only keeping pace with Africa’s strongest brand ecosystems, it is helping to define them.
What Is Brand Africa 100?
Brand Africa 100 stands as the most comprehensive independent consumer study ever conducted across the African continent. This year, the study spanned 31 countries, covering more than 85% of Africa’s population and GDP. Over 150,000 brand mentions were analyzed to determine which names genuinely earn the admiration, trust, and preference of African consumers. It is, above all, a measure of emotional resonance, not just market share.

22 Moroccan Brands Take the Spotlight
This edition recognized 22 brands across multiple national ranking categories, celebrating companies that have built lasting value in a rapidly shifting economic environment. Moreover, 23% of Morocco’s national Top 100 is made up of Made in Morocco brands, a figure that comfortably exceeds the pan-African average of just 15%. That gap is significant. It reflects a consumer base that is increasingly choosing local, and a business community that has earned that confidence.
Siham Malek, CEO and Founding Partner of Integrate Consulting and Vice-President Chair of Brand Africa North Africa, captured the moment with precision: today, nearly 75% of the value of Morocco’s major companies is made up of intangible assets, a level that surpasses what is observed in China or India. “We are not celebrating a communication asset,” she said. “We are celebrating one of the most strategic assets a company can possess: its brand.”

A Historic First: The Top 100 Most Influential CMOs in Africa
Beyond the brand rankings, the 2026 edition introduced something entirely new. For the first time, Brand Africa launched its continental ranking of the Top 100 Most Influential CMOs in Africa, a distinction designed to recognize the marketing leaders shaping the continent’s most influential organizations. Morocco immediately made its presence known, with seven Moroccan professionals featured in this inaugural list. That result confirms the Kingdom’s growing expertise in brand strategy, innovation, and marketing leadership at an African level.
Morocco, the Most Admired Nation on the Continent
Perhaps the most powerful result of this edition is symbolic. Moroccan consumers themselves named Morocco as the nation they most admire for its contribution to building a better Africa. It is a reflection of how deeply the Kingdom’s economic, institutional, and social trajectory resonates, not only abroad, but at home.
Thebe Ikalafeng, Founder and Chairman of Brand Africa, was direct about what these numbers mean: “The opportunity now is to further close the gap between the trust placed in the country and the purchasing decisions consumers make every day.” In other words, admiration is the foundation. Conversion is the next frontier.
Brands as Engines of Growth
The results of Brand Africa Morocco reinforce a broader truth about modern economies. In a world reshaped by technology, shifting consumer values, and accelerating competition, brand admiration is not a luxury. It is a strategic asset. Companies that invest in brand consistency, relevance, and trust do not simply win market share. They build durable relationships that outlast market cycles.
The Brand Africa 100 ranking serves as a unique barometer of that relationship between African consumers and the brands that shape their daily lives. For Morocco, the 2026 edition is both a recognition of what has been built and a benchmark for what comes next.
